Just so excited to share that I have decided to become a Close To My Heart Consultant again!! I also decided to use this older inactive blog of mine to promote, feature and share my CTMH creations! I still have my art blog active but I don't want to mix these two for various reasons. For some reason I am having trouble posting images on here so until I figure it out I will be linking to my FB page and Online CTMH shop.
So just to update this blog...I have been very busy since I last posted in this blog...last year I became an instant mommy and I have been continuing with my mixed media art. I was doing workshops for a bit but when I began to work on getting what we needed to get done to be foster to adopt ready I had to put all my creative endeavors on hold. Now that so many things are settling down (as our lives had literally been through many trials and tribulations) I feel I am ready to pursue my desire to do more with my creative abilities and help our household out at the same time!
I began to do research and was even considering to completely start my own business doing mixed media art workshops and sell kits for them...but I quickly realized that I just don't have the means to make something like that happen...at this time! Then I began looking at what other companies have to offer and honestly, looked up CTMH first since that was the company I first began to try this endeavor over 10 years ago back when they were called D.O.T.S. (Dozens Of Terrific Stamps) and they soon after changed to CTMH (Close To My Heart).
Back then I was very shy and tooo stuck in my cocoon to venture out for business and so my business became stagnant. Now I feel so excited and ready to make this creative business venture work for me and to have fun while doing so! I also decided to join CTMH because as a new mommy I would like to create handmade Memory books for our family. I still enjoy Digital Designing but I also love creating by hand.
That's what I loved about what CTMH has to offer...they have Workshops on the go, card kits and even jewelry and home décor options and I seen how I can use lots of the supplies to incorporate with my Art Journal workshops! Also the new consultant kit is a great reason...if you would like a great stamp starter kit for creating Scrapbook pages and cards...this kit is a great investment for only $99!!
